Online Keynote: Traineeships in the European Parliament
Traineeships in the European Parliament
September 21, 2026 | 3.00 p.m.| MS Teams
A Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament’s Secretariat will enhance your education and your vocational training. It will provide you with an insight into the work of the EU institutions and the European Parliament, a crucial forum for decision-making and political debate at EU level.
The Schuman traineeships may be undertaken in a wide variety of fields, such as EU internal and external policies, finance, law, multilingualism, administration, infrastructure and logistics, communication, or IT. They are paid and can be undertaken at one of the European Parliament’s official places of work—Brussels, Luxembourg, and Strasbourg—or in its Liaison Offices in the Member States.
The Schuman traineeships are awarded for a period of 5 months—for the next traineeship period March 1-July 31, you can apply from October 1 to 31.
To find out more about this and other traineeship (and study visits) opportunities at the European Parliament, simply join the session via MS Teams. Your camera will be activated, but your microphone will be muted—so you can comfortably listen to all the information—and you will be able to ask questions via chat.
